About the project

.music

.music is a top-level domain created for the music community, open only to musicians, bands and the professionals and vendors who work with them. As creative director, we defined what a .music domain could do: turn every registration into a ready-made artist page in the spirit of IMDb, with discography, tour dates, merch and a social feed for fans.

Live was the centerpiece. Artists could stream performances while fans chat, request songs, join the fan club and buy experiences such as meet-and-greets. We designed it end to end as mockups and a clickable prototype, covering the register.music store, the artist pages and the account dashboard.
