Our commitment
Saavedra Design is committed to making saavedradesign.com usable by as many people as possible. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA and treat accessibility as part of good design, not an afterthought.
What we’ve done
- Built the site with clear headings, landmarks and semantic HTML so it works with screen readers.
- Made menus, galleries, tabs and the image viewer usable with a keyboard.
- Added text descriptions to meaningful images.
- Chosen text sizes and colors with readability in mind.
- Respected the “reduce motion” setting, so videos and animations don’t play automatically for people who turn it off.
- Designed every page to work on phones, tablets and desktops.
Known limitations
Some older material may not fully meet these standards. In particular, the archived prototypes and websites linked from our project pages are kept as they were originally built, and many portfolio images are screenshots of websites and print pieces, so the text inside them can’t be read by screen readers. We describe these images as best we can and are happy to provide more detail on request.

Ongoing work
